By the way, I don't blame Joepa on the halftime call. He is just a mascot at this point. Coaches on the sidelines talk to him, but Im not even sure if he can hear.

I blame him because he's the head coach of this football team. If you're going to be a head coach, regardless of age you need to have a clue as to what's going on. This is coaching 101 right here, a pop warner coach would know he has a timeout and call it at that juncture. It's a shame.

Pitt fans are the paper champs. On paper, they could beat anyone. In reality, they beat no one.

I know you're angry right now Kirkie, and for good reason. All that talent and highly rated recruiting classes at PSU and they score 3 points against Iowa and 3 against Bama, and have a near loss at home to Temple (thank goodness Temple's starting RB was injured early, huh?), a team that lost to 1AA Villanova last year? Are you kidding me?

PSU is not a very good football team, arguably not as good as Pitt, and barely better than Temple.

KFerentz now 8-2 against PSU.

Illini played well against tOSU today...Watch out next week.

Titan, I'm not angry whatsoever. I knew this game was going to be like this going in. Check my score prediciton for the game. I know what Penn State is all about at this point. They lose to the Ohio State's, Alabama's, Iowa's of the world. They beat teams like Pitt, Purdue, Mich St., Northwestern. I think Penn State will be lucky to be 7-5 this year.

I know you are excited that Pitt dominated Florida international at the end of the game. Let's see how they do on the road next week against unranked 2-3 Notre Dame

It won't shock me to see PEnn State lose next week. They don't have a head coach. They have a guy that stands there and tries to figure out what is going on and 4 people talking to him. It's like talking your granddad fishing. You have to bait his line for him, and throw it out in the water for him, but he wants to tell you how to fish.

if a Pitt fan posted what kirkie just did about their record being 7-5 and they would lose their next game, and not having a head coach all the nit wits would molest him on this site about his loyalty etc. but of course it is ok for the nit wits to do so. Gotta love it.

I would love to hear a Pitt fan say that because they would be being 1)Objective and 2)Realistic. I think I am no less loyal to Penn State because I am realistic. Now if I quit watching them this year or quit paying attention that would be a loyalty issue.

I've come to the point where it's tough to argue with you, because I don't think you're on the same intelligence level as most people on this board. I can't figure it out. Maybe you're really young or something.
