Re: ian saylor
just a stinger in his neck. they made it look alot worse at the game then it really was. He will be back on the field in no time but you can't be sure Coach Paul will play him because he might want to give him more time to recover and make sure he is 100%

Is he out for the upcoming game(s)? I do not work the next towo weekends and was hoping to finally get to se him play. Usually with an injury to the neck or spine and you go to the hospital you are out for a few weeks because no Doctor will usually release you. My cousins son received a level 3 concussion in week four and is allowed to return to play this week, which is week 7.

Prince, I will keep you updated through the week and let you know if he plays this week. Don't want you to make a trip the whole way to Rockwood if you can't even see him play. Ian says he is fine and I know he wants to play this week. All up to Coach Paul now.
Re: ian saylor
No need to hurry. Records can be broken another week. I think Berlin will be ok without him for this week. Blacklick is my biggest concern. We seem to come out flat against them so it would be nice to hit them at full strength or close to it.

I actually saw the Berlin/Blacklick game last year and Berlin did come out flat. I think Blacklick jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead and hung on to win 21-20. I am sure Sayler worked hard in the off season and I wanted to see him as a senior.
Re: ian saylor
So your best player has a semiserious injury, but you leave him in to run it up and humiliate Rockwood. But the might coach Paul won't play Ligoneer Valley in week ten, despite an agreement that they had previously. Another show of how wonderful the mighty Westpac is. Run it up and pummel some of the worst teams in the state, but try at all costs to avoid playing any legit teams.
Why would you risk injury against Rockwood, a team that your JV team would beat?

Re: ian saylor
yea idk what happened there. i wasn't there so i can't say much, but the starters should've been out at half time. if there was any scare put them back in, but idk

Just like the Byers post...
Should the guys barely play because their opponent is struggling? Is it their fault? These good teams work to be good. The guys work to play and shouldn't have to sit. From what I've heard anyway it was over at the half and starters didn't play. The kid carried the ball 11 times for 200+ yards. Should they just take a knee? They scored a defensive touchdown after the half and one on a run that wasn't by Sayler...in the third quarter.

Then why did they drop out of the LV matchup? It is the kid's senior year, let him play as many games as possible. The chance of injury did not mean anything when he was dropping 6 scores on hapless Rockwood.
