What school could be the next Tyrone?
Tyrone was not the powerhouse that it has become until John Franco took the reins.
What local school could really become a similar powerhouse if the right coaching staff was brought in?
You could even take it one step farther and state what coach might be the next Franco and build a program similar to what he has done in Tyrone.

It's kind of happening at Central. Losing seasons every year in the LHAC.. Now they are on the verge of 3 straight playoff appearances. As long as they don't drop off in talent after Runk and the seniors leave, which I have no idea of. Their coach(whose name I forget) is one of the best in the area.
Re: What school could be the next Tyrone?
A.J. Hoenstine. I've seen a good many Central games the past few years and they always seem to be well prepared under Hoenstine. Even in those down years in the LHAC they put up pretty decent offensive numbers, they just didn't have the talent that they do now. Central has some pretty good football tradition over the years.

They won't drop off much. Their junior high is pretty tough this year(tied Tyrone), so the cupboard isn't bare in the cove.I agrre too, AJ does a good job, prpares well, has the ingredients.
