Re: I might die LAUGHING today...
I saw that yesterday and loved it. Junior does not want to work. Sorry, Wonder Boy, it takes effort to get this thing rolling. You either have work ethic or you dont. He doesnt.
Here is Nick Saban's weekly schedule, which I remind the readers of BWI very often.
Sunday 11 AM to 10 PM
Monday 630 AM to 10 PM
Tuesday 730 AM to 10 PM
Wednesday 730 AM to 7 PM (recruiting calls at night)
Thursday 730 AM to 7 PM
Hey, all he did was win 2 national titles in about 6 or 7 years with 2 different universities.
We cant even get Joey to watch film w/ the assistants let alone work a 13.5 hour day.
Coaching is a profession where you are never going to get paid enough for the hours you invest. This is something ppl do bc they absolutely love working with young men and do it bc they love the game and the prep work. This should not, at ANY level of football, be a hobby. Some people cannot make that type of commitment, and thats fine, but dont expect great things. This is not a 75% effort profession. This is more than a full time job if you want to be successful. 40 hrs a week does not cut it. Saban demands 100+ hours a week from his assistants. That's the type of coach I want, thats the type of coach I want my kids playing for. Not the Geistown peewee coaches we have in State College. It is a joke, Jay Paterno is one of the worst coaches in the solar system.

The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice
