I really thought North Star was going to win that game. Good victory for Windber. Well needed one. There's gonna be a lot of attitude in the Windber-Berlin game. Records set to the side. Both sides are gonna be bringing it. I don't think it's game of the week caliber, but should be a good game. I definitely won't miss it.

Yep. Been waiting for this game all year.
Anyone know if Everett got their 1st win tonight?

SouthPaw ~ you are right on & I would say he had 4 carries that totaled over 150 yards only.

Bellwood wins in a game that was a heck of a good one 25-22

Central wins and playoff hopes look good 21-7

Everett gets first win for the season in a high scoring showdown 33-32 game over williamsburg...waltman might keep his job now....

And my last update Josh Smith and the Titians get a nice win for the program over sountern huntingdon... 49-22 and move up with a 5-3 record...

night all

Don Bailey in the Tribune-Democrat: “Last week we didn’t throw the ball at all,” Bailey said. “We thought coming in here that we had to display our passing attack because we know we can throw.

You pick the team probably the most helpless in the conference against the pass and that's when you "have to" show you can throw? Everybody knows they can throw against Westmont and they do with great success, no brain surgery required for this gameplan.

Your opponent in two weeks already exploited the same pass defense with the same success.

We'll know what Forest Hills and Johnstown have in thirteen days on the big stage.

Don Bailey is hurting after that comment.

Ok, let me throw my caveat in here, knowing that anything but praise for FH, Bailey, BM or Salem will untimately result in an onslaught of hissy fits. I have all the respect in the world for Don Bailey and the Forest Hills football program. I just think statements like that are silly. Racking up passing yards against Westmont is synonymous with going out on October 31st and beating up all the little kids and taking their candy. Next week Vescovi will probably light up the Hilltoppers equally. Big deal. Or is this just part of the headgame buildup to November 5th?

Seriously, I already know that Bailey is a great coach and that I couldn't coach my way out of a paper bag, so try to hold back on the dumb responses like that.

By the way, anybody notice that the past several weeks, the Johnstown results and the Forest Hills results have always been on opposing pages of the Saturday football section of the Tribune-Democrat? Even the newspaper is building up to this game.
