My hat is off to their football team. It's like a successful business, you don't have to recruit when there is continuous success. I'm not a fan of private schools either.
As for the band...they need to do some recruiting. That little electric guitar they wheel out is killing me smalls.

Reality is this,if any other kid went to another school for athletic reasons he would be penalized. The reason the privates win is because they have different rules than the publics.A day of reckoning is coming and sooner than you may think.Keep gloating for now,we will see what happens when you play teams who recruit like Mccort does all the time!jack daniel wrote:and also people like you usatf can say what you want because admit it or not the reason you all hate mccort is because their good and most times cant be beat

ranger, thats the whole point, they GAIN an unfair advantage because kids do see some easier victories and transfer in for that reason...imagine if FH could get 1-2 quality transfers a class that are better than the players they have in those spots already. Its not mccorts fault, its the system

Unreal how narrow minded some people are...if you are going to represent the school you are attending or graduated from at least show some common sense  ... I dont care what conference you play in, who coaches, dosent matter, a team can come out and win it at any time during any year. If a team gets hot during the playoffs who knows what can happen, do you honestly think that teams have any real concern about playing teams from a specific conference? Just because you have good teams in your conference dosent mean that you are a good team unless you beat them, anyone can go and loose to a team even if you play them tough... I have seen my share of "good teams" come from the LHC, Westpac, ICC, and heritage and I can at least give credit where credit is due.

crimson i have said in the past i dont want to get into the recruiting issue, for those of you who went to catholic school and worked your way up to mccort and played and win, i am glad and happy for you, my problem is with the so called upper escalon of athletes who go there in 9th grade or later and you defend them as so called finders of god, i am just waiting for uncapher to find his calling and come to mccort. of those kids that grow up through your system i am just curious, with the starters this year, how many were in catholic school in 7th grade, not trying to start an argument just looking for an honest answer.Crimson09Crazy wrote:When I was in my backyard as a little kid I was pretending I was playing for Bishop McCort winning the state championships. That was my team. And I went through the Catholic School system with my friends and we dreamed of being great just the same you would at Berlin and Portage.
So how can you say you would rather have kids come up through your school and win? Bishop McCort was my School just the same as Berlin was yours. Its no different for me. I had no ties to Westmont except for living there.
The only kids you know on the McCort team are the ones from public schools, if you haven't noticed we have some excellent athletes to pass through the parochial system. Why don't you ever mention them?

Brigade, you won't get a honest answer. Sorry to burst your bubble.
