No not at all. Bryan wouldn't have made a difference on offense, sorry. He is a downhill runner. He really didn't stand out on offense. Windber was 3-4 yards and a cloud of dust all night long. They only had 1 big run and that was Cover's Td. I still like how Demarco didn't give any credit to Berlin. Typical crybaby. Only way Berlin sees Windber is if both teams make the finals.thereplacement2 wrote:BB is that a plug for the Ramblers? lol a second quarter injury to Colin Bryan or that could have been a different outcome (he was all over the field). Hats off to Berlin, Ian just did enough to get them the win and some poor play calling by Windber. Congrats on a 9-0 season, but the Ramblers are gonna be a tough out in the weeks that follow.

agreed, he is by far a much better defensive player.

I'm blind? What did Bryan do on offense? Nothing! 170 yards is held in check? Quit making excuses man. You are sounding like all the Windber faithful. Wait, no Windber fans were there Friday.thereplacement2 wrote:YOU ARE OBVIOULSY BLIND BB! i do hope Berlin wins D-5 so Desimon Green can destroy you and your mouth! what should have windbers coach said? sayler was held in check. Windber outgained Berlin in offense, turnovers were the difference in that game, be thankful windber was without 3 QUALITY starters. everytime i think you are somewhat normal, you turn back into a douche bag.

It's Sunday, with an extra hour in the day and I spent it sleeping...and thinking about the nice little tournament DV has going for them...4 teams still around for the fun to come.
Friday
#1 Berlin... a rest-filled week 10 now hosts...
#4 NS...shut down the 'run Vinnie run' and others show that TM had to offer...offense had their machine working all night...both semi-final teams knows what the other brings to the table...but it has been a while since week 3 and the last Mountie-Cougar matchup...
Saturday.
#2 Northern Bedford...QFinal opponent Meyersdale showed alot of mettle early on..sharp Raider offense the first drive...Panthers had power running in gear throughout again... next welcomes...
#3 CT...maintained business on a sloppy field...left the Ramblers a point short...the footing/ weather should be much better in Loysburg (and the stadium/view more 'breathtaking' for teams who don't get to Panther Community Stadium often)...25 +/- degrees warmer should get TONS of people to a pretty evenly matched game.
Friday/ Saturday night lights...Get here quick for week #11.

Re: District V 'A'
thank you sneakers for an unbiased preview. all 4 teams have played a great season, not a coincidence that 1, 2, 3, and 4 seeds are playing this week. each has earned their playoff wins and friday and saturday should be great games no matter who wins.

Re: District V 'A'
Hello Sunday and hello to this year's championship teams....It's going to be one heck of a cat fight on Friday night...We'll wait for the site to be finalized...
Start with the higher seed NB Panthers...wow!...CT had to see a little bit why our one poster made the "heads and shoulders above" comment a week or two back (against weaker opponents in October they were really crazy)...NB's front 7 + a few subs, very nice job against a tough ct squad...I'm willing to guess no D-lineman from Somerset Co messes up a passing game like D. Sollenberger has recently....big challenge for D ahead against the Strasisers...nice job for the O with Fluke on the sideline...both teams came to play..the team in black made a few extra of those special/ game changing plays..
The other cat still alive ...Cougars from NS...will look to knock down another undefeated team..and they have more than enough capabilities to do it...losses to BB, CR and Windber, but now want to have a November everyone will remember..like their soccer team continues to have..definitely more individuals than just the two brothers give opposing team lots to prepare for...
Don't see how this is sent to Somerset...December fb and the state quarters yes, but surely a venue will be chosen that makes a #4 seed travel a little further than that...
