I'm still wondering how Syracuse is getting more votes than Pitt.......Doesn't a 35 point loss at home hurt you?

No team that you wallop should ever get more votes than you, but it probably doesn't help that teams that took it to Pitt have looked pretty poor lately. Tulsa and Army were able to beat Notre Dame and Miami is dropping like a rock after losing to Virginia this week.

I wouldn't vote for either team,
Miami and ND have sucked. But Utah is a top 5 team and we took them to overtime. I think Pitt will get back in if they beat UConn and USF in the next upcoming games, that puts Pitt at 7-3 and a perfect 5-0 in league play. those games are both on the road, so they aren't gimmes, but Pitt is definitely much better then those 2.
I was surprised Northwestern-PSU got a 3:30 ABC? Theres like 4-5 of those this week.

It's for the ratings. Don't forget 399. A lot of people want to see that for one reason or another (the milestone for college football fans, the one that might finally get him to leave for us PSU fans).

The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

I didn't realize Northwestern was 6-2 either, I guess it makes sense.

Re: Top 25????
The 3rd, 4th, and 5th team in the country are all non-BCS schools. I'm sorry but its time to stop rewarding teams for going undefeated in sub-par conferences. There is a reason why a team with no BCS conference ties go undefeated for over half a season and very few BCS conference teams can do so. The reason, they play a tough opponent every week. I don't think any of those teams would be undefeated if they played in any BCS conference except for maybe the Big East. It's time to stop rewarding those teams for playing in poor conferences. To be completely honest I still do not think any of those 3 teams could finish in the top 3 of a BCS conference let alone go undefeated.
