HERITAGE WEEK 10

Post by HSfan »

Last week 5-0 and 42-2 for the year. Lucky, lucky, lucky no upsets in the Heritage Conference.

Ligonier warms up for the playoffs vs WPIAL AAA Derry.
Derry Area (2-7) 7
Ligonier Valley (8-1) 38

District 6A Playoffs First Round
United (6-3) 14
Glendale (6-3) 20

Warm-up for BC
Northern Cambria (3-6) 7
Bishop Carroll (7-2) 28

Homer-Center and Penns Manor appear to be idle as does Blairsville, Marion Center (yes, they declined
to be in the platoffs with a losing record but could still play a 10th game), Purchase Line and Saltsburg.
If any of the above have a game this week please post.

Is the BC/NC game still on or not? Thought there was some conflict with St. Francis homecoming, if so
BC 42
NC 7

Ligonier 45
Derry 14

The single A game of the week in both D6 & D5
Glendale 21
United 18
(based on home team is alway 3 pionts better and United has left alot pionts on the field this year by going for 2 way over 90% of the time, they did kick a PAT last week)

Sorry, I was on some other sites doing some research, Derry has played a meatgrinder schedule and lead H-burg for a while, I think Derry takes LV out. 26-20

I agree that Derry is better than their record. WPIAL AAA conference they are in is very good. The Laurel Highland loss they had was bad, but other than that tough schedule. They have seen teams that do what LV does but only better. My guess is Derry does not know how to finish, LV wins by 14.
