Re: Simon Says
A district title is what every team, coach is after, LH title means nothing in all reality. Penna would much rather win a District title, than a conference title. Johnstown played a nice game and used their strength to beat FH, which was their speed and athletic ability. I feel both teams should repeat as District 6 champs, as well as BM. FH came out flat and was shocked by the early deficit, it was the first time they couldnt jam it down the opponents throats. However they never quit and kept fighting. The fumble when they were leading broke their back. If they put points up on that drive it may have been over the other way. I question, the 3rd and 1 fade Jtown ran and then got stuffed on 4th down. That was something you may try on Madden, but C'mon man~
Good luck to both teams next week

Re: Simon Says
Sure an District title means more, but FH still has a shot at taking home both for the 2nd straight year. Johnstown fans claiming to be the "real champions" means nothing. As of last week,we all knew no matter what FH was the LHAC champs. You can't just crown a team champs because they edged out FH in a meaningless week 10 game. I'm not taking anything away from Johnstown, they took it to my Rangers for 4 quarters. But let's not say they are more deserving than FH. FH didn't lose to a 6-4 team in one of the first 9 weeks that matters. That is why they are the champs.
This loss will be good for the Rangers. Franco is an even better QB than Simon and they also have better coaching and play upfront. For all the Rangers fans who thought D6 would be a cakewalk, we will likely play Huntingdon, Central, then Tyrone if we win each game. That might be one of the toughest roads we've had in awhile.

coaching4life: You'll take a win over a banner anyday????? That banner will hang in FH's gym for the next 50 years. NO ONE, as the years go by, will know the story of the 2010 season. All they will know is that FH was the 2010 LHAC football champion.

Boy, I didn't realize FH fans were such cry babies. Defend your LHAC title all you want. Hell, I'll even come up and hang the banner for ya. I bet if you asked Donbo who deserves to be the champs he would say the boys that whipped my boys last night. Anyone with a brain knows JHS gave you a smack down. End of story.
Enjoy your banner. We'll enjoy the win.
Oh, by the way, I remember all you FH talking about that 3-1 scrimmage results. How did that help you guys out last night?

Re: Simon Says
Cry babies?? Hey, just stating facts and reality. And yes we were discussing the FH/Johnstown scrimmage earler in the season. But we were discussing THE SCRIMMAGE. No one said it would translate into a season victory for FH. You guys have to get a grip. FH was pronounced LHAC champion BEFORE the game with Johnstown. That's just the way it is. The loss meant nothing to FH as far as the LHAC championship or the District 6 pairings is concerned. Sure, it would have been nice to go undefeated. Hell, it would be nice if I had a Cadillac too. But facts are facts. Again, Johnstown flubbed-the-dub against CC and that's all she wrote. Next?

Good game Trojans. Caught me and a ton of people off guard. Not afraid to admit I took Forest Hills by 3 scores. After watching both teams play against the same team at the same field, I couldn't see how Johnstown was in the same ballpark as Forest Hills. But thats just a testament to them coming out and playing better, and improving. It's a shame they looked ahead to this game, because they could have claimed a championship. Forest Hills is the outright champions. It can't be disputed. But Johnstown players can always remember they beat Forest Hills and will be one of the bigger wins of their lives. With the winning the game/Banner argument. I mean theres really no debate, I mean congrats to Johnstown and all, but at the end of the day its about winning championships not just games. Forest Hills can add 2010 to their banners.

Re: Simon Says
Johnstown fans never were too humble in victory. Fact of the matter is, they won a meaningless game. I highly doubt Bailey would say Johnstown was the LHAC champs, because well... Forest Hills is! If Jtown wants to complain about it, don't lose to a 6-4 team! and as far as FH getting a 'smackdown', they lost by 9 points, and fumbled driving to go up by a score. It was a close game, don't make it something that it's not (like your fake LHAC title..)
Re: Simon Says
It's funny how all the crying about how this so called "meaningless game" needed to happen just a week or two ago when the rumor was johnstown was going to cancel to get ready for the playoffs. now that the forest hills rangers have lost it's just a meaningless game. funny how times have changed.
