Vikings Waive Randy Moss
Is there any other player in the NFL more selfish than Randy Moss? The guy gets what he wants, and then turns around and tells the Vikings to go screw themselves basically. He did the same exact thing in Oakland, he didn't get what he wanted so he basically gave up on his team. Football is not a one man game, and that is exactly what Moss is making this. If he doesn't get what he wants he cries about it until he finally does. I've lost any bit of respect I've ever had for Randy Moss.
Moss was limited to one reception for eight yards against New England but also drew constant attention from New England’s safeties that helped free Harvin for a six-catch, 104-yard outing. Then he goes on a rant about how he misses playing for the Patriots...what? The guy makes players around him better, even if he is having a bad game, but he has to **** because he isn't getting what he wanted. Ugh. I hope nobody picks him up, not even the Bills.

Re: Vikings Waive Randy Moss
I'm the biggest Randy Moss fan that you will find. I disagree with a lot of things he's done in his career. I think the Vikings overreacted and it was Brad Childress just trying to flex his muscles. When Randy wants to play, he's the best receiver on the field. Does he always want to play? I don't know. However, if you don't throw him the ball, how can he prove himself? He knew the Vikings were a sinking ship. He acted like himself and it got him cut. He ends up going from a 2-5 team to a 5-3 team. If he goes to the Titans and continues to conduct himself poorly, then he deserves to have his career come to an end. I don't see that happening. I think he plays with a chip on his shoulder like he did in 2007. He won't put up the same numbers, but the Titans will actually utilize him and that's what Moss has to have happen. His presence alone makes the Titans a Super Bowl contender.

D, I think Randy Moss shows that he wants to play football most of the time. You can tell when he is on the sidelines he is always trying to help guys out and figure out plays that will get them into the endzone. The only thing I really have to disagree with you is I think the Vikings did the right thing getting rid of him asap. He was only bringing the Vikings down more than what they already were. A team that has the potential for playoffs but only has two wins this season. When you are just brought to a team, still learning the system you have to give it time. Moss didn't allow for that to happen. He expected he would get the ball every other pass. What? Even when the ball was thrown to him I don't think Moss gave 100% to make a completion. For example, His last game against the Pats he was interfered with clearly, and the ball was still in the air. He got the call, but he watched the ball drop right in front of him on the 1 yard line..why didn't he catch the ball? Right there was an easy touchdown, but he put out zero effort because he was frustrated. The Vikings failed to score on that drive.
The Titans will have problems with him just like any other team he has played for.

Re: Vikings Waive Randy Moss
retro, I'm on the 'wagon with you. Hopefully, it will be a good ride.
Good stuff n1, but do you know something I don't? What problems did the Patriots have with Moss? They couldn't utilize Moss in their offense any longer since Brady doesn't seem to have much accuracy throwing deep anymore. He wanted a contract extension and they weren't going to give it to him, so they dealt him. I never heard about him causing any real problems. The Titans will have problems with him just like any other team he has played for.

Did you not hear about the Brady/Moss fight over the beard and the hair? Same week they got rid of Moss. Coincidence? Maybe.

Re: Vikings Waive Randy Moss
That report was false. Brady and Moss are really close friends. If Brady had any say, Randy would still be with the Patriots.
