Central started off against AAA Clearfield who is now 10-0. They lost 42-14
Second game was Bellefonte AAA. Were winning 20-6 but lost 20-22
Third game was Central Mountain AAAA. Lost by 3 but had a kick return called back.....
Lost to Tyrone AA by 1

Out of those four losses, only one was a blowout.

Central has done well against the teams who run wing-t, wishbone ect offense.
PO, Bald Eagle ran a little of it. Lewistown ran some.

They do well with keeping contain and filling gaps in the run game.

Don't think Central will have trouble with this one, but this can't be overlooked by them.

FH 28 CC 17 followed by FH 20 H'don 14. Then they're done. Franco's turn on top.

Any more predictions? Is anyone picking Ridge over Huntingdon? I don't know much about the BearCats but I have seen Ridge on film and they have a nice line and their quarterback is playing really, really well.

I think more people would pick Ridge had they not lost to Bedford last week. I expect a close game with not many points being scored. Central should be able to handle LV but I think it will be closer than people might think. As for the other two games, neither should be close and Tyrone and FH should roll. Bellwood-McCort looks like the game to go to on Friday night, and on Saturday I'd say either the CR-Huntingdon game or the Central-LV game. NB and CT should be a good one on Saturday as well.

I'll go with:
AAA- Johnstown 28 Bellefonte 20
AA- Tyrone 42 PC 6
FH 35 CC 7
Hunt 14 CR 13
Central 27 LV 14
A- BA 24 BM 20
BC 26 HC 13
JV 28 Portage 25
United 21 PM 20
D5- Berlin 34 NS 27
NB 27 CT 21

I'm sorry coach, but Ridge was not good at all and the level of competition they played all year really showed up last week against a very below average Bedford squad. I have no clue how Huntingdon is at all, but I will be shocked if Ridge wins.

'til last week I'd have called Ridge/H-don a tossup. But H-don held Clearfield to 12 points! If they wouldn't have turned the ball over 3 times in the 2nd half it woulda went into ot at 0-0. If they play defense like that tomorrow nite, Ridge can roll out the mats and get to work.
