your opinion, most people would still say that call was wrong.

I mean I am a Steeler fan, I'll take it either way. And as a McCort fan you gotta take the win. Both teams deserved to win on Friday.

Well I mean it's not just an opinion when thats actually the rules stated in a Rule Book after a Called TOUCHDOWN on the field that the play is dead. If the teams were reversed would I have been pissed? Yeah, but still realized it was the correct call on the field. And Crimson in NO way am i tryin to take the win from McCort i was just stating what i stated, Bellwood suck their own ship with two Pick 6's and another fumble lost, the lost down just was sort of the torpedo to make sure they were "dead" if ya get what i'm saying.

I'm sorry teams from Johnstown head over that way, its just how it happens, on top of that a Catholic school, which everyone hates, isn't getting any calls. The refs were bad all night.

I never said the refs got that last sequence right. they really messed up, and as a former HS athlete I just feel for the Bellwood seniors. It sucks when HS sports are over, and it must suck when it happens on a bad call. But at the same time, Bellwood should have won that game. They outgained McCort by a ton. They just happened to have 3 fumbles and 2 pick 6's. Thats their own fault for not putting a QB-less McCort team away. I feel bad thats how the game went down, it shouldn't have ended that way, but if it was your team, you gotta take how you get it. I know half of you are Steeler fans, we all took the Dolphins win knowing we got lucky. McCort can't help the refs screwing up that play. They did what they needed to do to win the game. Can't sell the game short for the Crushers. They hung around and beat a very good football team. No guarantee Bellwood wins with an extra down, but it leaves speculation forever. Shame refs are screwing up during playoff time.

Penalties were 7-7. Get your facts straight. Don't make it sound like the refs were out to get you. Bellwood is the one that got screwed. NOT you.

And my last thing I'll say on this matter.

On 4th Down, which should have only been third down. they needed to get what? 20 yards? Well they only got about 18(he was definitely short, no argument on the spot) and the only reason the clock stopped was because it was change of possession. Bellwood would have had a 4th and 2 with about 15 seconds, clock running and no timeout and no ability to spike the ball. What were they really going to do?

I think it sucks thats how it went, but at the same time the chance they would have gotten to win the game would have been a hurried 4th and 2 with no time left.....Just saying. I'm dropping the subject, but thats just one more thing to keep in mind.

Crimson, Do me a favor and try to get a copy of the game. You will clearly see that the yard to gain was the 3 yard line. The receiver caught the ball at the 2 yard line and was immediately hit and driven backwards and out of bounds. He made no effort to fight for extra yardage, therefore the ball should have been spotted at the two yard line. First down stops the clock, and BA spikes the ball. Now it's 2nd and goal from the 2. Seriously, watch the tape. It doesn't lie. Or ask one of the BM coaches who I'm sure have the integrity to tell the truth. By the way, after the 1st down intentional grounding they down marker was changed to 2nd down. It was none other than Bishop Salem telling the guy holding the down marker to change it to 3rd.

And it was none other than a Bellwood-Antis fan or parent changing that marker. I mean it was pretty clear from my seat that the kid was stopped short and the coaches would agree. So that makes it 4th down, forward progress keeps him in bounds clocks ticking......Bellwood frantically tries to get a play off with a second remaining, chances aren't great.

seriously??? LOL. I could care less but how do you think you are correct and the paper is wrong. Are you the official stat guy in the booth at this game or what? And if you were why didn't you get word to the field and clarify the down situation at the end. LMAO.
