Re: Saturday Night Scores
Hey Old Guy
This is an answer that will solve the "my conference is better than your conference" talk and it has been proposed before. District 6 needs to go to an all classification schedule just like the WPIAL has. The conferences would be eliminated, you only play your section every year and then each year rotate another section that you play to round out your schedule. Take the winner of each section and then however many other 2nd place schools needed on a points basis to make either an 8 or 16 team playoff. Each team would keep the 1st game of the year to play traditional rivalries. The AD's have consistently shot this down but if it works in the WPIAL why wouldn't it work in our area? You could roll in District 5 if they wanted in, that would be their decision. This would work, the AD's need to consider what's best for area football not just what is best for their individual schools.

100% agree. I did a lengthy post on this 2 or 3 years ago, with alignments of teams by geography in different divisions. It makes sense for football.nortnort76 wrote: District 6 needs to go to an all classification schedule just like the WPIAL has.

Look it is just this plain and simple. It is a good AA conference.End of story. The two privates should be at least AA that are in it.The other conferences are primarily single A conferences, quit ripping on them.As far as Johnstown goes, district 6 has very little in AAA.Just because you are in love with your recruiting schools playing down don't come barking up our trees.Recruiting myth what a joke.People have named how many transfer students going to the bishops on this very site.Keep living in fantasyland!mc29012 wrote:Well, the LHAC IS that much better than the other conferences and it reflects in the playoffs. Re: Saturday Night Scores
For like the third time, can you name a player on Carroll's roster that is recruited? Only 2 starters didnt go to parochial schools.......and carroll is one of the smallest schools in the district so I guess they should play AA huh?usatf oldguy wrote:Look it is just this plain and simple. No, he transfered and was denied eligibility because Gouse is a crybaby and wanted to get back at Carroll
