Supertsar changing classes?
Khem Birch the #2 overall player in the 2012 class(Pitt commit) is reportedly skipping prep school, and entering the class of 2011, which he would have been in. He's joining Pitt a year earlier then expected. Well that creates a log jam in several ways.
First and foremost, We have 13 scholarships, we have 3 graduating seniors. That gives you ten, plus Dixon already Over recruited ancd got 4 signings. So its obvious someone has to transfer, or someone is not going to qualify. Now throw in that 5th recruit, that gives us 15 players with only room for 13.
Secondly, It may upset some other potential pros. Birch is supposedly a one and done type player, obviously if he is skipping his final year of high school. But, the Panthers have McDonalds All American Dante Taylor who was lined up to start next year. He has gotten better, and he'll only get better next year. Anddd we have this Talib Zanna, who is a bona fide NBA player. He has tonsss of upside and already can be considered a top freshmen in the entire country. So that leaves you with 3 6-9 guys who expect to be first rounders.
Someone is not going to get the minutes they want.
These aren't the biggest problems in the world, but im really not a fan of the over recruiting. With one I was even mad, now we have 2 guys over. I don't like the situation.
