I believe and correct me if I'm wrong but Westmont is the only school in this area who actually hired a MINORITY basketball coach, and he seems to be doing just fine. A little food for thought.

Well then again, I don't need to bring up what happened to this kid, but you still have crap like that going on. Great for Westy, its not some rural racist area, but still, predominately white area. Good for them hiring a minority coach. But the fact still is a couple people are immature and forced a kid out of school.

Crimson, I could post some past incidents about McCort and allegations that have happened there, so dont be so high and mighty. I do believe Westmont has had minorities in that school before without incident. Maybe we arent knowing the whole picture here. From some people Ive talked to, you may not be the "winner" in this situation.

I've played Basketball with the kid, I don't think he's anything great. Very raw. I don't think McCort got a stud by any measure.

I know exactly what situation you mean, was a little before my time. I'm not acting high and mighty, but nothing of that sort of stuff happened when I was at McCort. And that was a McCort teacher, the incident you speak of. I'm talking Westmont students here. It happened, it happens everywhere. Sucks that it does.
