BCS argument flares up...again.

So, for those of you who haven't heard, Ohio State University's president made some pretty outlandish statements recently regarding who is more deserving of a trip to the BCS: a 1 or 2 loss team from a Big Six conference, or an undefeated Boise State or TCU.

It seems that by his logic, if Wisconsin were to lose to Northwestern and Ohio State were to beat Michigan this weeked (or maybe even if they weren't?) Ohio State would be more deserving of a title shot since they play bigger schools and not, in his words, "little sisters of the poor."

This kind of angered me since each year I constantly root for a BCS buster to come in and shake things up so we'll finally get a playoff, but big conference schools and presidents seem more concerned with money and media than they do a real championship. But since we have the BCS, and thats what we're stuck with, I decided to do some fact and stat checking and compare his Ohio State buckeyes with both TCU and Boise State and see how all three teams match up. This is what i came up with:

Granted, i understand that the Big Ten is considered to be a superior conference, but here is my deal:

You are stuck within your conference (at least for now) so you have to make due. If you want to prove you are superior, schedule tougher Non-Conference opponents. Boise and TCU both schedule tougher non-conference opponents who placed higher in their respective conferences, but nearly beat them by the same margin of victory (less than 10 pt difference). Also, highlighted in green are the teams that were ranked in the Top 25 when each school played them. Again, youll see that both TCU and Boise have a better record VS top 25 opponents, but they also beat them by a higher margin of victory than Ohio State.

I want to know all the bleacher coaches' thoughts on this issue
