Fleury has played outstanding as of late. Better than the Cup winning playoffs in my opinion. It rivals when he came back off an injury and was sharing time with Conklin. That was the best period of hockey in his career along with the 2007 playoffs in whcih trhe Pens lost to the Red Wings. That being said, the issue at the beginning of the year was not the defense. The majority of goals given up were not results of defensive breakdowns but a goalie who was struggling with confidence. I bet if you asked him he'd tell you the same. I think the way Brett Johnson played proved that. The way Fleury is playing right now is very encouraging.

Honestly I really don't care who we have in the net. If they can keep the defense rolling and keep up with the way they've been killing penalties, they could put Ham in the net and still win games.
