Come on Portage Alum give it a break he transferred and thats it. Hes a good lead blocker and hard nosed player on D but his greatest asset is his leadership. To say they wouldn't be here w/out him u don't know that. 2 1000 yd rushers, kid w/ 20 sacks, and another w/ 150 tackles and Kephart isn't one of those. Kephart is a great player and found a great situation at BC its nice to see him in blue and white. Very positive leader on the field thats his biggest contribution.

Ah, but ONE player can be the icing on the cake. Tell me, who would be playing in Kephart's place this year at BC if Kephart would have stayed at Portage? Obviously he wasn't as good as Kephart, or HE WOULD BE PLAYING. Therefore BC DID receive an advantage to it's team with Kephart in there. That's what people don't understand. As long as the kid who transfers make 1st string, the team has bettered themselves. Otherwise they would have had to use a kid who was not as good.

Again, who would be starting for BC in Kephart's place if he would have stayed at Portage?

Was at the SF-Brockway game... definitely alot closer than the final score indicates. The first half went back and forth with both teams scoring and one SF interception off of a tipped pass gave the Lions a 28-21 lead at half. Game was still within 14 until about mid 4th quarter when the SF defense finally stopped Brockway a couple times and made it 49-28 with about 6 minutes left and I left. Both QB's were as good as advertised, rocket arms, great accuracy, but Buganza from Brockway is just a tiny little guy compared to Brumbaugh who looked about 6'4. I know Brumbaugh had almost 300 yards passing at halftime and I don't know what he ended up with but I know he had at least 5 TD's. If Forest Hills wins tomorrow, their secondary better be ready for the task because the SF passing attack is legit. Their defense however was not great, I know Buganza is a great QB but they gave up alot of yards on the ground as well. If FH does play them, they have a shot if they can play some defense because I think the Rangers can score on them a good bit.
