What happened to Ondrejik and why will he most likely be out?

The speculation is an acl...hopefully not...I would not wish that on anyone. He took a cheap shot on an extra point after the last touchdown. A sharon player submarined him in the knee and then stomped on the same knee while he was down.

Sharon as a team was a classless act. Their coach should be embarrassed of how they all acted. Sharon was down 21-7 and they were taunting our sidelines/fans. Multiple personal fouls on top of that. One of their players punch one of ours while the teams were shaking hands. I guess a cop asked if FH wanted to press charges for assault on the kid who threw the punch. They were a complete joke if you ask me.

Hopefully Ondrejik's injury isn't as bad as the speculation is. I wish him the best of luck for a speedy recovery.

I heard that Sharon player actually came into the FH huddle late in the game and threatened FH players. He had to be removed by the officials and escorted back to his side of the playing field.

I also heard the Sharon head coach was the first one thru the line shaking hands after the game, and then disappeared, while all this other crap was going on after the game.

I just don't see FH winning this gamw. They have to many injurys. IF they didn't i would give them a great chance.

It's well documented how Bailey has blown a couple State Championship chances with questionable play calling and game plans. I really think he has learned from this, and is still growing as a coach despite his age. A couple years go people were saying he was washed up, too old fashioned, etc. He has gone 36-4 since then. SF remind me of Johnstown, and although Johnstown beat FH they were in it til the end. FH's new secondary players (Dudukovich, Helsel) have been a tremendous upgrade from the 2 younger young men who got mono. FH wins this one, and gets back to the big game.

One good thing about FH and most schools around D6 is that you notice they will never give up on a game, but you look at some of the WPIAL schools/Pittsburgh area schools they almost have a tendency to lay down and die...the Sharon game last week you could obviously tell that only down 7 points Sharon gave up on the game and lost composure, you will never see that out of a truly good team like FH is, they may not be the most talented teams compared to their opponents but they have the heart to win it. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE DOG IN THE FIGHT, ITS ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE FIGHT IN THE DOG!

Burkey was to get checked out this week to see if he can play Sat. Don't know about Shope. Doesn't matter though, the key missing piece will be Ondrejik. The best interior lineman. Who will replace him. My heart says Rangers, but..... BTW- I'm sure lots of you have Googled or Mapquest'ed Hempfield's stadium, but basically you get there 2 ways. Go Rt. 30 thru Greensburg, and pick up Rt. 136 ( West Newton Road) takes you past the school, or, Rt. 22 west to Delmont, take TOLL Rt. 66 ( T'pike extension) to Rt. 136 then head back towards Greensburg. It's near a small town called Ft. Allen.

yes it can, mccort/clairton last year we were playing for two coaches, for two fathers, and we were stopped. it takes alot more then pride to win a football game 35-20 south fayette
