Somerset boys is not hosting this year. They are travelling to Hanover, PA for a tourney there. UPJ looks like it could have some quality games depending on the first day match ups. Shade isn't travelling to Homer this year? Are they in a tip off tourney? Wonder if all the private bashers saw the teams for the Dubois CC tourney? That one looks like it could have some of the best A schools. Kennedy and Dubois normally make deep runs into states.

3/4 teams in the DuBois CC tournament have played for the state championship in the last 4-5 years I think?
Pretty impressive, though I'm surprised Elk County Catholic isn't in the tourney. They are perennial powers up in District 9 and even the state.

Dubois CC tourney will be good for McCort. They have a lot of young talent, and have the most upside of any program in the LHAC at this point in time. McCort is Huge this year. Gonna be real interesting going up against some of the best.

Somewhat amazing that a marquise player such as Luke Gallaher is not playing in a tipoff tourney , with the Rangers, somewhere.

Tough opening game for the Crushers with North Catholic. Always solid. Dirty too. Do I remember a playoff game where one of the many Martins on the team kicked or punched a Westmont player? Sounds about right.
DCC is solid again, probably the favorite for the D9 A title, if not ECC. Marshall is back for the Cardinals and is by far their best player. Don't know anything about Kennedy, but don't really need to. They are always good.

Manfred, is FH AA or AAA for basketball this cycle?

North Catholic is very tough. We played them in states a few years ago, they weren't too bad with us, but they got in a fight with Pryor and Jeanette the game after us.
