Re: Looks like a Golden opportunity
I am sure that Bradley is composing Justin King-like daily handwritten letters to the Pitt administration begging for an interview and a shot to take over the program. He may even be saving a few dollars and sneaking them through the football office and using PSU postage to mail them out to PGH!

What it is....
Its Holgerson's job.
After that we contacted, Hoke from San Diego State. Also the Miami (OH) coach, Mike Haywood.
I think we offered Golden the job, seriously.
We contacted Rhodes to some extent, Zeise believes just to pick his brain about Holgerson. Rhodes is home, he is taking care of his parents, and seems happy is where he's at. Also the 30,000 Pitt fans that do attend games, would be cut in half if he was the coach.
St Louis Rams Offensive Coordinator, Pat Shurmur
Wisconsin OC Paul Chryst
Oklahoma OC Jay Norvell
all 3 could be looked at if Holgerson falls through.
3 guys that want the job,
Tommy Bradley. He has some important people chirping in Steve's ear.
Frank Cignetti- Only Pitt coach that expressed interest
Terryl Austin- Florida DC, played for Pitt.....also have some alums high on him
Wild Card Candidate.....Randy Edsall. He supposedly wants the job and would entertain the offer.

Re: Looks like a Golden opportunity
Holgerson is a wierdo like Leach, he would be a huge risk. The safest picks would be Cignetti or Bradley. Would Walt come back as OC under Bradley or Cig?

Speaking of Joe, here's his best interview!

Very sad, but when I first heard this it was hard not to laugh a little.
