Another little tid-bit of information: My brother(BisonBlue07) and I are going to the game on Sunday. Every time we've been to a Steelers home game that they've won, they've won the Super Bowl that year ('05 season opener vs. Tennessee and '08 playoff game vs. the Chargers). Hope and pray for a Steelers win and a 7th Super Bowl ring.

Here we go...!

That patriots team that is playing so very well right now is also dead last in every defensive statistical category, so that just shows you right there that it doesn't matter where you rank in the league, it matters how you put it all together come game day.

I'm tired of hearing everyone complaining about the Steelers pass defense. No other defensive system in the league asks for more out of their cornerbacks.

The AFC is looking like it may have their best playoffs ever.

1. Patriots
2. Steelers
3. Chiefs
4. Colts - They'll still win that division.
5. Jets
6. Ravens

The Chiefs are the only team that I see that doesn't have a legitimate shot of winning it. It would only get more interesting if the Chiefs would stumble and the Chargers would get in over them. The match-ups would be unbelievable.

Don't forget when talking about the steelers pass D the fact that teams don't even attempt to run on them anymore. I would suspect that they face a higher % of pass to run then any other team in the NFL.

Maybe that's why Pittsburgh's rushing stats are so good. It works both ways.

Big Ben proved again that he is a jerk, when a reporter asked him about his thoughts on Pitt hiring Miami of Ohio coach Michael Haywood. He answered, "He never reached out to me. I don't really know him". He never reached out to him????? Maybe Big Ben thinks he is someone special. Usually when someone reaches out to him, they grab him and throw him to the turf for another sack.

You probably took his comment out of context. When a small university has one of the best QB's of this era as an alum, it might be wise to contact him to help your program out as much as possible. If I were the coach at Miami (OH) I would do all I could to have the help of Ben in mentoring my QB's and WR's, around the program as much as possible, and even use his advice myself. That may be what Ben is referring to by not "reaching out to him."

Why is the head coach at Miami Ohio supposed to reach out to kids who graduated 5-10 years earlier, when he wasn't even there?

Because he is a great recruiting tool. If you can tell 16, 17 year old kids that a quarterback with 2 super bowl rings will be around the program every now and then, that will be a great sell. Its not like Miami (OH) is that far from the 'burgh. Maybe he wouldn't come around but at least contact that guy and try to get him there as much as possible.
