any tourneys this wkend?
Re: any tourneys this wkend?
Moldo - my point is simple. I know both those boys, and I was pretty sure neither was at the weights listed. When the post below said that FH was missing 4 weights (103, 125, 215, 285), then followed that up with: among the missing were..... I took that to mean that the boys listed were at the weights that were listed. And at what point did anyone mention that 5 starters were out?El-Moldo wrote:Don't quite understand RidgeDad's question. If Pinkas is a starter, and wasn't at the PC Tourney, then a second-stringer obviously wrestled in his place. SO, FH STILL had 5 starters missing from their lineup, anyway you look at it. That is 103, 125, 215, 275, and the second-stringer wrestling in Pinkas' place somewhere between 125 and 215. So what's your point?
I was just asking for a clarification, because I couldn't see any way either of those boys were at the weights that were listed. That was my point.
So what weights are Pinkas and Snedden at this year? I'm guessing around 160.

Among the missing were Doltyn Snedden, Zack Pinkas, Chris Gallaher, Jeff Meier, and Zack Brydon. FH finished 7th out of 16 teams. They also had a contestant in the Junior Varsity Tournament.
Re: any tourneys this wkend?
You went out of your way to make a point that Pinkas was between 125 and 215. None of the weights that were missing were any of those weights. Add the 4 that WERE missing, and obviously the FIFTH one that was not a starter (Pinkas) and you have the 5 I mentioned.

No hidden agenda against FH here Moldy. Just asking a question. Relax. Breath.RidgeDad wrote:

The program for the other night had Snedden at 145 and Pinkas at 160. Lets put this to bed now.

Maybe I wasn't as clear as I intended to be and for that, I am sorry. Snedden will continue to find a starting spot on the team, while Pinkas will continue to defend his own spot. There are numerous other wrestlers from Forest Hills who haven't touched the wrestling mat for a match yet, none any more/less important than the others.

For those of us who had to work, what were the results of today's 2 PM match with Richland? Please. I thank you.

I'm sure you've caught up by now, but in case I'm wrong, Forest Hills won 51-27. The Rangers made it alot closer than it should've been. That type of performance will not cut it if they have big postseason intentions. Some usual suspects looked really good and others need alot of improvement in order to help the team down the stretch.
