Re: Altoona/Johnstown
He will be allowed to play. The schools have to sign off which will not be a problem because his family actually did move, and I can't see district 6 refusing him eligibility. Considering all the shady moves that have happen in this area regarding catholic schools, they would have no grounds in this instance.

For example Westmont had a kid move to the district and played basketball for us at the end of the season last year. Played football for us this year and halfway through this school year transferred to BM and is now their starting center on their basketball team. So if he is eligible then Watson will be eligible.

The key phrase is was the move made for athletic intent. That can be hard to prove, but could be a bone of contention with the sending school.

Yeah. Watson moved because of family. Should be no problem.
The Westmont kid moved for obvious reasons broad casted in our local paper.
Don't see athletic purposes for either.

Apparently it wasn't athletic intent, who would leave to go play for a team who just got its first win. My question is I wonder who is paying his tuition????Crimson09Crazy wrote:Yeah. Watson moved because of family. Should be no problem.
