windber will be alot better then they have been the past couple years..new coach and old players like cover and clark are playing again. im not saying they will be the best team in the westpac but they will be much improved

I hate to say it but i think windber will be terrible like they always are. clark may help cause he is big but he is also very slow, and cover? no way! he isnt going to help windber out at all..to small and weak.

Windber could be alright. They only lost Cameron Ursino and with a new coach he might get some enthusiasm going. Pipon isn't bad and the two bigger kids inside (Grohal and Lucas) if used correctly could do OK. I think they could be the biggest mystery in the WestPAC North right now. I think with the other teams you can get a feel for what they will be like. Well other than Conemaugh Valley who looks as if they should be down but post are indicating they are going to be tough again this season.

Uncapher wasn't a force last year and I don't see how he becomes dominate this year. This year is going to be tougher for him because he doesn't have the experience of 4 seniors surrounding him. If the supporting cast was any good they would have seen some varsity time instead of competing at the jv level all season.

i saw uncapher play a few times last year, and definitely thought he was a force, especially for a sophomore.

Well, were about 1/3 of the way through the season. Let's hear everyones thoughts on how the predictions are turning out.

1. NS-they have looked good against almost everyone sofar this year excluding shade and j-town(mainly because of injuries).
2. CT-everyone knew about Speigle but Boyer has play just as good in my opinion.
3/4. This is a toss up between portage and CV.
Portage-has looked good after their first few games. Cronauer is no doubt their best player but Bryja has done alright when he doesn't play against players that are physical. Scoran has also played good at times.
CV-I don't no much about CV but I know they played well against CT(lost by 4 I think) and also beat BV.
5. BV-I'm not even sure they should be here. Their best win is probably Rockwood(not saying much). Anytime they play anyone good they lose big(except Berlin by 7 I think). Their not playIng like the number 2 team in the conf. where most people had them. Even the preseason last place(portage by most people) beat them by 15. I'm not sure what their coach was doing in that game. He hid, I guess their best play(if you had to pick one)-Cesarz- in the short corner all game against portage's 3-2. I think he ended up with 7 points and wasn't a factor. BV seems to try and beat you with the 3 but since they only shoot 26% their not going to beat a lot of teams.
6. Windber-don't know alot about them either. Although they ended up taking portage into overtime after they down 25 or at the half.
7. Ferndale-have yet to see them play as well but they can't be very good. Who is going to do their scoring???

North Star is definately the top dog in the North. CV is starting to crumble a little but not sure of the reason behind that. Graham does not seem to be contributing as he was earlier. Portage will struggle to be .500. They beat Claysburg who is awful, Windber (without Cover) and Blacklick who couldnt make a shot that night. Blacklick has no size and seems to be a little inconsistent. Ferndale is having a tough season. Windber is a team that cannot be taken lightly.
