The most important phrases in Spanish (ie the only one's I can remember, even after four years of the class)

Donde esta el bano?

and

Donde esta la cervesa?

the poem is the only spanish i know. I took 1 year of german and can actually have conversations in that language. I just know spanish is the most boring thing ever in school and i just pray for days when we sit and talk while she plays on her computer.

I've never seen a fight between 2 soccer teams. I've never seen an all out brawl between 2 soccer players. I've seen plenty of fights between fans and they're pitching rocks, bottles and whatever else they can get their hands on.

An actual war broke out between two countries due to the result of a soccer match. Talk about people taking their sport seriously.

thats about as stupid as VH1 giving a "Gay Hero" award. It sounds crazy but stuff like that actually happens. For example: the guy who interfered with a foul ball in the cubs/marlins championship game this past fall. He had to have a police escort out of the stadium with different clothes and had all kinds of death threats. He couldnt even go back to his job.
