Wow that is great news, maybe we can compete in the near future. Red shirt Mills and give him a team to work with.

Hey thats great to hear "coach" !! I hope it helps. But JOPA needs to play the very best kid at every position, regardless of whether he is a true freshman or a 5th year sr. ,instead of wasting good talent sitting on the bench because they haven't paid their dues.

It doesnt matter if they have the number one recruiting class in the nation coming in. Penn St will return to national spotlite when coach paterno hangs up his whistle. There is alot of lack of discipline going on there although Coach paterno is getting little better with that. They might be .500hundred next year I say might. I will admit obviously I am no Penn State fan. Am really turned off by some things Paterno has done and is doing. Good luck next year State

Noname is right, PSU never had the "off-field" problems that they have today. Paterno needs to whip some disclipine into those boys or there could be a few more long seasons ahead.

It has nothing to do with Paterno. It is our society in general, people are used to being babied and spoiled rotten doing what they want. No one can keep it from happening.

TRUE!

Let the kid be who he/she wants to be...it will be alright...NAH!

You have guys with painted nails, face paint, huge ear holes, all black clothes, etc. Girls do pretty much the same thing....

ALL FOR ATTENTION. Someone's parents didn't pay attention to their child enough..... There is no reason to do that stuff unless you want to make yourself stand out because you can't do it any other way.

Dep,
I somewhat agree with your comment. When i played sports my coaches had a grave influence on my "off-field activites". The coach cant control them 100%, but im sure he could find ways to make them think before they go out and do the stupid stuff thats happend in the last year.
