Congrats Sean Cronauer

Post by GreenMachine »

Just wanted to get in a quick but yet well deserved congradulations to Senior forward Sean Cronauer of Portage on eclipsing he 1000 point mark for his career last night. Sean is a humble young man off the court but a fierce competitor on it . He's definately been the backbone of this years Portage squad and the decent success that they've had. Good Luck in whatever the future brings your way sean, and also best of luck in the upcoming District 6 playoffs.

Sean is top-notch, no doubt about it. Just a great kid all around. Congratulations to him for reaching the 1,000 point milestone last night! He is well-deserving of this accolade, a testament to his hard work and commitment to the sport of basketball.

Tough to say really, they go as Cronauer and Bryja go pretty much. Cronauer consistantly puts up 20pts 10rebs a game but Bryja sometimes just disappears in games. At 6'6 Bryja is usually a tough matchup for teams because he shoots from everywhere on the court including beyond the arc but is inconsistant from game to game. They play Harmony in the first round and have already met them during the regular season losing by 4 or 6 I think in only Portage's second game of the season at Harmony. I think Portage can use their season progressions as a good chance in getting a first round win then who knows after that really. With Cronauer at 6'2 - 6'3ish and Bryja at 6'6 we usually do well when we can outsize some teams in the middle unfortunately come playoff time you usually don't have those size advantages.

I would liketo congratulate Sean Cronauer too. Solid player and appears to be a great kid. The Mustangs are in trouble!! too easy to prepare for, no man defense no pressure. Coach Kruise will do his usual get the lead and force the opponent into a man defense. Portage cannot not match up with teams man for man. I think it was a double figure loss the first time green machine. I would like to see Portage pull it off but have already lost at home to Harmony who seems to be playoff ready.

The more I think about this one, the more I think Portage knocks them off.
