Football wise a move to the Heritage could be huge for CH, they could go from a 1-2 win team to a 6-7 win team. And probably rather quickly.

What about a WestPAC move? All programs except swimming which CH does independently anyway.............

They'd be a 6-7 win team there too.

Everyone has to remember a few things. Football isn't the only sport at Cambria Heights. What will the Meyers bashers do on Saturday when the have to go to Shade or Turkeyfoot for an afternoon Saturday game. Oops I forgot. That would be Meyers fault too. The point that everyone is missing is that it is March. Off season work has started. Meyers, reputation, professionalism, was dragged through the mud, by a few parents, who are living through their children, and six members of the CH school board listened to them. That is the shame of it all. Parents won, CH athletes lose.

I wouldn't be so quick to automatically guarantee a 6-7 win season for them in the heritage. but the post doesn't surprise me.

Its a team that very easily could have had 5 wins last year in the LHAC, they lost 4 games by a combined 10 points, and a team that can win 5 in the LHAC can undoubtedly win 6 or 7 in the Heritage. But they'd never move to the Heritage anyway because the Heritage doesn't like having AA schools.

I don't think it is completely that...up to just a few years ago, you had 2-3 double A teams in there and then the enrollment dropped for them. a perceived problem with ligonier valley is that they were getting 2 quality football programs combined into 1 when you do have predominantly A schools in the conference. that is tough to deal with, and they were much better. And--not all conference schools are hell-bent on ligonier leaving. I know of at least one who likes the competition, and realizes it will make their program better come playoff time.

But Penns Manor who is the current top dog in the Heritage doesn't believe in playing better competition to make themselves better prepared for playoffs, perfect example being them not getting an opponent to replace the opening left with the Ligonier LV merger. And when the top dog in your conference doesn't want to play better competition it makes the whole conference look bad.

i don't necessarily agree with that. they made a choice to not play anyone. others found a game, and in some cases they didn't back down from the options they had.

They could have brought someone in from out of state and chose not to. Any time a team passes on a chance to play a game, its sad in my opinion.
