AAA and AAAA games for D6 Boys and Girls today....

Also time for D5 and D6 fans to start keeping an eye on other Western Districts......
I'm sure we'll get a nice wrap up on the Shaler game.....and the Post Gazette is doing a live blog with updates from a few games....
District 6 A matchups
D6 Champs gets District 9 #3
D6 runner up gets District 9 runner up
D6 #3 gets D5 Champ.
D9 is still in the quarter finals so its too early to tell who that matchup would be, but the 3 catholic schools Elk Co. Cath, Dubois CC and Venango may be teams to watch out for, D6#3 will get a tough game with Shade most likely. Maybe Souther Fulton.
D6 AA
The Champ gets the winner of the WPIAL #7 and D5 #2.
D6 #2 gets the D5 champ
D6 #3 gets WPIAL runner up
The Champ will get eith a D5 team(Tussey,North Star or Township) or a D7 #7 seed, like a Wilkinsburg or Jeanette type team. #2 will see one of those same 3 D5 teams mentioned, and #3 will be looking at GCC or Beaver Falls.
D6 AAA
Champ gets WPIAL #5/D9 #2 winner
runner up is in a play-in game with WPIAL #6 with D10 Champ in the first round
D9 won't win the play in game, should be Saint Marys. WPIAL #5/6 will be either Uniontown,Central Valley,West Mifflin, and Hampton. West Mifflin was a 20 win team and a #2 seed that got upset last night. Would be a tough draw. The D10 champ will be a real good team, McLane, Sharon, Franklin, or Erie East.
D6 AAAA
D6 Champ gets the winner of WPIAL 4 and City League runner up
D6 runner up plays WPIAL #3 in a play in game than will go up against D10 Champ
WPIAL 3/4 may be a Gateway,North Allegheny Mt. Lebo type team, even Shaler. City League won't be too strong so I wouldn't even expect them to beat a WPIAL team in a play in game, like a Schenley or Allderdice. Prep or McDowell are in the Championship for D10.
