I think someone needs to tell district 5 there is a tournament this weekend.

The match between Hixton and Morris was crazy. Its rare to see two kids that large wrestle so aggressively. Each them actually wrestled somewhat reckless. Great match to watch.

I'll post some stuff tomorrow or later today, don't have a lot of time on my hands right now. One thought, D5 is really bad, but still deserves to have 3 kids advance to regionals.

Wrasslerfan, the real question is where is the bleachercoaches afterparty?

Just some numbers from each districts' lowest qualifier on the first day.
District 6 - 18 wins
District 7 - 11 wins
District 5 - 5 wins

Some thoughts about numbers of qualifiers for each district.
D-5, with 3 qualifiers per weight, sent 42 kids to regionals, and had 7 place winners(top5). D-6, with 4 qualifiers per weight, sent 56,with 26 place winners and D-7 with 7 qualifiers per weight sent 98 kids, with 37 placewinners advancing.
Placing percentages are as follows:D-5 placed 16.6%,D-6 placed 46.2% and D-7 placed 37.6% of their kids on to States.
If this is not a reason to give D-6 back the 5th qualifier, and cut D-7 back down to 6, I don't know what is. Many kids who didn't make it out of D-6 could have made it to States.
