Re: Poor Buckeyes
Does anyone have a list of D1 universities that have had some kind of violation or investigation in the past 5 years? I mean it is making a mockery of the sport. Off the top of my head:
-Auburn
-Michigan
-USC
-Ohio State
-North Carolina
-West Virginia
-Oregon
As much as we complain about the problems at Pitt and Penn State, at least those are two schools that have been able to keep their nose clean of this garbage.

Every school can be cited for something if you look hard enough. College football is dumb.

The NCAA should give in and pay the players. The school already does.

Re: Poor Buckeyes
This has turned out to be a complete joke, suspended for two games and those games are against Akron and Toledo. What a joke the NCAA can be at times. If this happens to say a Mountain West coach and hes probably gone for at least 6-8 games, if not the whole season.

Re: Poor Buckeyes
The 2 games came from OSU, the NCAA hasn't made any ruling yet, it'll probably be no worse though because they will be protected now just like they were for the bowl game.

Re: Poor Buckeyes
Why not suspend Tressel and the players for a couple Big 10 games? Atleast there is a slight chance not having them play will affect the outcome of the game, There gonna win most of those first 5 by 30 regardless of who is on the field.
This punishment is hardly a punishment at all. Tressel deserves more for not controlling his players and letting them break the rules. Even if you don't agree with them, you gotta follow what is set by the NCAA, and the coaches should have more responsibility for what their players are getting into.
