Outside of T. Battle.....

Could any Penn State player actually get into the game, or be in Jamie Dixon's rotation? I think Battle would be our 6th or 7th man most likely. Anyone else? i don't watch enough Penn State to know.

Possibly Tim Frazier, but I doubt it because he is way too inconsistent, and possibly Jeff Brooks. Brooks would have a better shot then Frazier, he would be a good back up to McGhee.

I don't think I have ever seen a fanbase with more obsession to another school than Pitt fans to Penn State. I mean I could see if the schools actually played each other. I would say the majority of Penn state fans commenting on Pitt is in rebuttal to a Pitt fans thoughts.

Penn State is just as many wins away from the Final Four as Pitt is right now. They may not be as talented but that just means they will have less pressure on them in the tourney as a team that has been in the top 5 all year and is a 1 seed.

It was a legit question, not a jab or anything. I know it came off that way. BUT I honestly never watched a Penn State game this season, and couldn't tell you anyone besides Taylor Battle. So no Kirk, I'm not obsessed. I really couldn't give two shits about PSU Basketball. As I said to someone earlier Penn State Basketball poses as much threat to Pitt Basketball as a pet kitten does to a Tiger. I just wanna know, they made the tourney. Might as well know something about them.

They made the tournament basically due to the development of Jeff Brooks and Tim Frazier from last season into this one. Those two added enough to their game (especially the second half of the season) to allow Penn State to create some match up problems with Brooks being nearly a 7 footer that can dribble and shot the 3 ball and Frazier always having a weaker defender on him with Battle getting most of the attention. This team basically tries to slow the game down to a speed slower than teams have seen in a long time in basketball and feels that late in games a team with 4 different 4 year starters they will make enough plays to win if it is close.

Ed DeChellis has granted Taran Buie his release from his scholarship to pursue a transfer somewhere else. Does this mean his mother has to move again????

Matt Glover, 6'4" combo guard from Sheridan (Wyoming) Junior College, has committed to Ed DeChellis and the PSU men's basketball team for the 2011-2012 season. Glover had narrowed his choices to PSU, TCU and Nebraska. Concerning Penn State, Glover said, "I know the football team was always great, but I knew the basketball team was great too". Maybe there is no cable TV in Wyoming. In addition, the Penn State library staff has begun to brace themselves for another men's basketball player from a junior college.
