I'm glad to see that the SF Indians have turned things around because they were pretty awful in the late 80's and early 90's. I told of one game that had NBC beating them so bad it took forever to play the first quarter (it was like 32-6) that then coach Lew Ewart got off the bench and went towards the locker room because he thought it was halftime!
Forbes could really pile up the points back then! Fannett could too sometimes. I think that the game has changed a lot over the last 15 years. Back then 5 fouls put you in the one/one and fouls were called with a lot more frequency. Everygame had at least one player foul out and usually more than one! Also I think the players were much more fundamentally sound back then and were much better shooters and passers. Most teams now are lucky to have one kid be able to handle the ball and every team has at least a couple of ogres that can't play worth a lick and just take up space. Too many video games and watching god-awful NBA games and not near enough time playing hoops in the driveway!
