School benefactors- memoriam

Post by Manfred »

My prayers, and I'm sure all of Forest Hills School District, go out to the family and friends of Steve Domen, who passed at age 78. Steve could be found at just about any FH sporting event, either gender. He had trouble with circulation in his legs, so wouldn't be able to stay long at any games, but everyone knew and loved, or admired him. A nicer human being one would be hard pressed to find. Rest in Peace, old friend.
It ain't over until it's over.

Steve and grandpa were actually very good friends before my grandpa passed a few summers back, had the honor of meeting him a few times. One of the nicest people I ever met. R.I.P.

I wanted this to be my first post. Steve was a wonderful man. He was always present at practices, games etc. Steve could be found almost every night at the school for a game of some sort. When his health started to decline, it was like a missing piece at the school. He will be missed by the Forest Hills community.
