Scores from Today: 3/25
Just was seeing if anyone else had score updates from the Opening Day?
Portage - 15
Bishop McCort - 0
- Dunno if McCort is that bad really, maybe just not cohesive unit yet after a long BBall season???

Pitching is this team's biggest weakness I thought going into this season. Bats will start clicking soon. Talent is there, they can be a factor if they find some pitchers that will step up.

Obviously it's early and there is a long way to go, but getting shut out in a high school baseball game is not a good sign. Unless Portage had Roy Halladay on the hill, this may not be good for McCort in the long run.

Portage did throw their "ace" in A.D. Maul who had 13 or 14 Wins last year then went on to have a pretty good AAABA season(forget which team he played for) and was a pickup player for Delweld to play in the AAABA Tournament. He's no slouch but definately not this Division 1 phenom product or anything.I Told You So wrote:Obviously it's early and there is a long way to go, but getting shut out in a high school baseball game is not a good sign.
