I think the courts will determine where Sandusky goes. I hear Graterford is looking for a new LB coach, and he might as well apply for the position.

I'm pretty worried about this.

If Grandpa Jerry goes to Graterford, he won't be applying for the position, he'll be assuming the position.

Two separate incidents a decade apart, similar allegations..."Allegedly" playing grab butt in a shower in the football offices with a 12 year old boy, going to great lengths to surround himself with vulnerable children by: adopting 6 children himself, chairing a foundation for underprivileged youngsters, and driving 2 hour round trip to volunteer as an assistant coach when a dozen or more HS are closer, then being accused of molesting an underaged boy yet again over a period of 4 years...Strange coincedences...This is all entirely too creepy.

The Patriot News certainly sought legal counsel and also spoke to the folks running the grand jury investigation and neither advised them NOT to print the story. I have to believe that they sought legal counsel before proceeding with putting this in print.

I also have to believe that if these charges were trumped up and bogus, then this investigation and the inquiries would have ended a LONG time ago. Instead, the investigation has gone forward for 18 months.

I would have LOVED to have seen Paturdo being interviewed during the inquiry. Have you seen any of his press conferences? The guy can't remember the names of players, can't recall what happened yesterday, and can't even remember to take a crap. That must've been some sight, 100000000x worse than watching ole Ronnie Reagan sell out Ollie North in the Iran Contra affair...'I can't recall" is all he said, and sad thing is, he was probably telling the truth. Reagan should have been in a geriatric home, rather than the White House for his last 3 years in office. Ditto Joepa, only he's been out of it for the better part of 2 decades now.

What I really cannot wait to see unfold is the potential massive, widespread cover up and blatant negligence by the University leadership, Paturdo, the university police, the state police, and Centre County Children Services.

Again, the PGH media is doing everything possible to minimize this. They'd much rather focus in the really important stories like talking about firing Jamie Dixon and blabbing about Josh Lay smoking pot than coming out and talking about the really hard topics like this.

Nothing has been heard since this story broke in the spring. I find it very interesting that no investigative reporting has been done. This story broke in the Renovo weekly rag? That's right, I said RENOVO...Has anyone here ever been to Renovo??? Think Deliverance x 100...The media sure seems scared/intimidated by someoen or something or they'd have been RELENTLESS...Wonder why it's been kept so quiet? I give the original reporter from the Patriot a great deal of credit for having the courage to pursue this.

It sure sounds like PSU covered something up with the earlier allegations, especially given the fact that the Grand Jury saw it fit to revist a case that had been sealed...

The stuff that happened at USC was bad...at tOSU worse...at the 'U worse yet...

...BUT ALL OF THAT WILL PALE IN COMPARISON TO THE DISGRACE PSU WILL FACE IF SANDUSKY IS CHARGED AND FOUND GUILTY, AND IF PSU COVERED THIS UP IN ANY WAY.

If this ends up being true and PSU covered this up, I want to hear the same Nit Wit fans justify it...The same holier-than-thou PSU fans who crucified Pryor for getting a few tats and selling some memorabilia and who turn their noses up at the Sherrills and Switzers and Miamis of the world!

I find it interesting how Sandusky's sudden retirement coincided with the first round of allgeations.

I have to believe that even if no charges are filed, thenthe families of all victims are in line for huge civil settlements. Who knows maybe if the investigation has encompassed the Second Mile Foundadtion, there may already be evidence of payments being made...
