Football on TV this Fall if No NFL?

Via my sources here in the Steel Ci-tayyyy....Fox is dabbling internally with the idea of offering a Big 12 or Pac-10 game each Sunday. It would have to be after ABC selects their games and the two schools involved would have to agree to move their game back one day. How much further behind can CBS be with their SEC tie-in? Would NBC move any Notre Dame games to Sunday night primetime? Would some of ESPN's Tue and Wed night games bump up to replace Monday night football?

Anyone else hearing anything about the possibilities?

Right now, the Notre Dame at Pitt game is scheduled for noon on Saturday Sept 24th. Why??? Because the Pitates have a home game that evening vs the Reds, followed by a Steve Miller Concert. Abracadabra!!!!!! Wouldn't mind seeing that game on a Sunday night. Can Catholics play on a Sunday?

What's happening near PSU on Sept. 24th you ask? Well, the Nits host Eastern Michigan in football, there is the sheep-to-shawl competition in one of the ag buildings, and the Creamery will have extended hours that day. Penn State will probably NOT move any of their home games to Sundays. That's the day the football players usually pick up the garbage inside Beaver Stadium.
