i think valko's win in the fh/cr match was his 100th career victory...i read in the tribune-democrat that forest hills might have 4 wrestlers on the team with 100 career wins by the district tournament...thats unreal if you think about it...

That is really impressive, especially for around here. I bet not too many even have 4 guys with 75.

CR gave FH a better match than I thought they would. Hope the Bison can on Saturday. I think Valko is only a junior, that is impressive for 100 wins if that is right.

Those same guys ran through my head too cube. I would say none of the BC teams this year have even 2 guys with 75 wins, certainly not 4 guys. This year is the year for Som. Co. Look at the class of '04 there. Just NS and BB alone boast some great seniors. Last year was Bed. Co's year. The class of '03 was probably one of the best in a long time to come out of the Co. Just look at it:

NB: Reasy, Suter, Swindell
Bed: Huxta, Geisler, Weyandt
Hyn: Scritchfield, Parsons
Ev: Brambley, Miller
CR: Ickes, Mock
TM: Bollman

There are probably even some that I am missing. But that is a solid group of guys there. You have something like- three 100 win wrestlers and two 99 win wrestlers.

Shane Valko is a junior (and ahead of Strayer's pace for all-time winningest wrestler in school history. Sean Kisel and Artie Moss (Juniors) should get their 100th this year and James Moss is only around 20 wins away. This is especially impressive considering 4 years ago we never had a 100 match winner.
