High School Football Workout Warriors

Post by P.I.T.T. »

Ran across an article on espn.com, talking about the NCAA workout warriors (Posting more than impressive stats in the weight room). Anyone come to mind in the past 5-10 years from the area that can be classified as a high school workout warrior? Stats are appreciated :)

A few years back at NBC, running back Travis Brown was a maniac in terms of his training.

A relentless workout running hills and sprints at most time accompanied by vomitting due to the extreme nature of his work. Also, a machine in the weight room. He absolutely got the most out of his physical ability.

Definitely followed it up in the classroom too as I believe he garned his doctorate degree in engineering and I think is a college professor at the University of Purdue.

Great kid and success story from a small school.

Must've been before Xbox, Wii, Iphone/ pad, etc. I bet he actually often went to a library!
