My sources are telling me that it has been business as usual at Richland.

1st day of camp:Lots of passes being thrown with minimal run plays.

Lots of underarmour, spirit packs etc.-because if you look good you play good.

I heard each player might even get two helmets-their current white helmet, and also a blue one.

Cuz,If you are gonna pass, you gotta look sweet!!!

jack daniel thanks for the news i was not aware of this change. His speed might be used better in the backfield. Its a good combo with rizzos size and power.

Wizard, I agree the 08' season was a dude. But they have for the most part been successful the past 2 yrs.. The one year the Bailey jr had a chance to beat FH (07' I believe, Pecora's senior year) FH wasn't on their schedule. And Bailey did screw up the 2009 regular season game by abandoning the run up 9-0 in the 1st half. We will see if this year is different. As far as a 2nd set of helmets; That can't be cheap. I hear they cut 2 teachers to half-time to save money but they can buy another set of helmets? If this is true hopefully the boosters bought them because if the school did then i think there is a problem with their priorities.

The players are not getting two sets of helmets i have talked to a couple of the kids. And as far as it goes for rozich and rizzo, they might be the best backfield duo in the LHAC

Are there any rules in high school regarding alternate jerseys/helmets? I wonder how many other high schools have three jerseys.

Bailey will still throw it 30 times a game and run maybe 20.

Gateway High School(Murrysville/Monroeville Area) Had a BUNCH of Uniform combinations the past few years. They've had full sets of Black, Gold and White Jerseys and Pants. Also they had Black and White Helmets that they'd alternate depending on which uniform they'd wear. They're are one of the richest of not THEE richest school districts in Pennsylvania hence why they can have the selection.

Really? I didn't know that. I looked over their photo galleries from this past season and saw the third gold jersey. I like that, it looks good. No alternate helmet though. I know they swapped helmet decals for the 2007 WPIAL playoffs, but I don't remember seeing the white helmets. Any photos floating around out there?

As far as the helmits and jerseys are concerned, as Fernando used to say, it's not how you feel, it's how you look. And YOU look mah-va-lous.
