Re: WPAC Week 2

Berlin may not have the explosive weapons it had in the past few years but they have a pretty nice sized team with some strength. CV is no 16 point favorite in this one...
As for Shade, hopefully this is their year to turn the corner. They finally have some size to go along with some talent. However, every year someone gets on here and talks up the Panthers. If Shade is going to be a topic of conversation beyond week 2 they should put away Ferndale at home. Go Panthers...................
BV and Windber....BV better prepare to stop the run or it will be a tuff day in the Valley for the home team, despite the Saturday afternoon mojo. A win against Windber would be sweet for the Vikes but they'll have to be on their A game to get it.

Berlin struggled against ferndale and c.v. beat ferndale last year and has their whole team back, so I wouldn't take c.v. lightly bb. C.v. does have some size and uncapher is an athlete. Corson is a tough runner and will test berlins defense. Hunter furman has some talent also. As for someone saying berlin only has craig??? Glotfelty is by far their best player. He will play qb and run like sayler did and go to wr and he will get it. Stop glotfelty and you beat berlin. Craig is a t.e. and he had to go to rb because ferndale was small and he plowed them over, but he doesn't have the speed, just power. Where was dauphinus in this ferndale game? He is a starting rb and a good lb and I didn't see him. Him, craig, and glotfelty are berlins star players. Glotfelty is the next sayler. He is only a junior and can do it all offensively and defensively. So c.v. you better watch glotfelty on the options and when he goes to wr, because he is running or catching it. You can take this info to the bank. He will be over 3/4 of that offense this year.

Craig had 66 yards on 10 carries, but glotfelty had 89 yards on 9 carries and 3 receptions for 77 yards. glofelty had 2 tds and craig 1. some miller kid returned a punt for the other td. Like I said where was dauphinius??? he is #37 and he didn't register a stat and he is the rb and lb on berlin???? He disapeared

impress you with all the hype???haha what hype did they have coming into this game, your an idiot you said absolutely nothing smart in this paragraph, you just put down stats[/quote]

lol.. ok petey... i know you wouldnt know what hype is, about any other team except ferndale. but there were statements about the new coach, all the returners, having uncapher moving to qb... remember... i said hype not district 5 champs.. funny how anyone on here that makes any statement you call idiot, mindless, dont know what they are talking about.. calling teams like portage, shade, berlin bad.. you sir or child, should create your own little ferndale site and you can praise them all you want.... you are an **** for telling me i just put down stats then ask someone else for stats on craig. you just want to argue with everyone on here. why dont you go put on some shoulder pads and a helmet and actually play the game instead of criticizing all the teams and players.

Because he is an al bundy arm chair qb or a coward kid who is afraid to play and won't get his lunch stolen from eisenhuth and ferndale players if he gets on and rags on all other teams and players and sticks up for ferndale.

Berlin had 21 points taken away from them in the first quarter on terrible calls. Just because you see the score in the newspaper you make assumptions about the game. Berlin (-28) CV
Saying Glotfelty is the next Sayler is a bold statement. He is a good player but not that good. The next Ian Sayler is in 8th grade. Can't wait for this kid to be in varsity next year.

Yah, when you play at ferndale, you have the refs as #12 man and I heard you guys should have stomped them also. That kid in 8th grade is probably fochtman and he was good last year as a 7th grader. His bro is tough also and is a 9th grader. Glotfelty is tough though for a junior only and don't count him out yet as a saylor because he still has 1 more year and 1 year makes a big difference in a player if he works hard in the offseason. Where was dauphinius at bb. He didn't register a carry or a tackle and he was decent last year for berlin.

The only thing that hurts Glotfelty is that his team is going to be terrible around him next year. He won't have big games. Andre is hurt.

Yes this is false. I was at this game and the refs were calling it both ways.
