Just curious of what people think about this, especially our friends from BM, BC, and BG.

A few years back I went to a McDevitt vs Mckeesport game at mansion park. McDevitt ran out on the field with the lead player running with this huge crucifix. While I am catholic myself and have absolutely no problem with people being proud of their religion, there is an implication that the other team isn't.

I don't see it as an issue. I've heard much worse. I think it's a little funny actually if it's in response to the other schools "We've got girls" chant, which I think is funny too. It's harmless. Coach probalby wouldn't have said a word if he had won.

I don't agree that they should be running on the field carrying a Crucifix, that to me desecrates the Cross.

My sophomore year against Richland the student section made a sign with a cross on it that said "Jesus Loves Us." And of course Richalnd whined and moaned and complained in the paper.
"some may say you just got lucky, i personally believe you make your own luck by being good."
