Week 3 in The Moutain League(MAC)

Bellefonte @ Tyrone- The Red Raiders have given up 77 pts in 2 games to 2 teams that are 2-2(each teams win is against Bellefonte). Tyrone has been inconsistant, they just had their 45 games regular season home win streak snapped while only rushing for 20 yards against Mifflin County. I look for the Eagles to come out a bit irritated and with something to prove.

Central Mountain @ Central - This has the makings of a dandy! Central Mountains' young talent played with a good AAAA school in week 1 , losing close; and blew out to a big lead on H-don last week only to fall short on a spirited comeback by the 'Cats...They gotta be one of the better 0-2 teams around (other than West Catholic). While Central may have gained a little confidence nearly knocking off d-9 power Clearfield in their opener and leveling Bellefonte last week. This is a big game for both teams and could be a treat to watch.

Philipsburg Osceola @ Juniata - 2 teams that you really can't get a gauge on by looking at the results of their 1st two contests, P-O has the make up of a playoff team if they can cut down on the mistakes.

Mifflin County @ Huntingdon- On paper this looks to be a good one. However while the Cats aren't totally one dimensional, they do rely heavily on the run, and let me tell you that plays to MC's strength, they are huge and strong up front.

Penns Valley @ Clearfield-
The Rams are better than they have been, but they are inconsistant and still Penns Valley. Clearfield, well , the JV's will get alot of time this week.

Halifax @ BEA - The Eagles have stumbled out of the blocks and are hoping to catch their balance with a small A school out of dist. 3. Don't know alot about Halifax other than Jesse Jones little brother is their all-time rush leader(graduated a few years ago),...and they are 1-1 this year.
