Ferndale went down fighting 35-20.It was tied 14-14 @half. Then in the second half The Jackets scored to make it 21-20 in the 4th but had the extra pt blocked. Then gave up a huge kick return into their Territory. It just was not to be, as Meyersdale scored on that drive then on the next after Ferndale turned the ball over on downs.

Ferndale has some nice ball players and are tough to beat at home. I knew c.v was better than people gave them credit for also, they just played and opened up with two tough opponents in n.s. and berlin. They have alot of experience also. At least the weak pac has decent games this year instead of all blow-outs and shut-outs. These smaller teams are playing the elite teams hard.

I try mot to second guess coaches (even bad ones) But @ 21-20 I thought Ferndale should have went for 2 to get the lead. Their kids played so hard to get it tied @ 14 then to get to that point.. I was impressed with their hustle and heart the entire game.
