There's not going to be a Sun Belt Network anywhere close to PA, bud.

TV revenue from football is what funds the athletic departments at the vast majority of I-A universities. The football team at Arkansas State is not the only team at Arkansas State that feels the sting of this. It will be basketball, volleyball, baseball, everything. Those schools rely on shared TV revenue.

This all goes back to the crusty elitist brass being sick and tired of losing to schools they feel should not have a fair chance against them.

How do the conference title games not matter in the current system?

Oh they matter. I never said they didn't matter. However, They will matter much more in a 4 league 64 team format. Most years the one or more of the conference games is a matter of getting into a BCS game without the chance of a national title. In the new scenario (if they have playoffs), the 4 conference champs will all still have a shot at the national title. Big difference

I don't understand your obsession with saving these mid-major teams. Do you really think if Toledo went undefeated this year they would have a chance to play in the National Title? I sure as hell don't. Plus I'm kinda lost in your idea that super conferences will greatly effect the TV revenue that these mid-majors are currently receiving. If Buffalo at Akron is currently on TV why wouldn't it be with super conferences? You had a bunch of threads not to long ago complaining about the talent being watered down in D-I with too many teams yet a system that would seem to keep most of the great athletes in the "upper-tier" of say 64 teams seems to be such a bad idea to you.
