Isn't enrollment dropping at FH? That doesn't help any program.

The comment on Joe's # of junior high wins was not bragging on a number, it was to show that he is probably happy and comfortable and not interested. IMHO, of course

Too many junior high and JV coaches think that their coaching W and L record will go onto their tombstone when, in fact, NOBODY CARES.

Again, the point is that Carpenter seems to be comfortable and content where he is. The number of wins was just an EXAMPLE OF WHY HE SEEMS CONTENT AND PROBABLY NOT INTERESTED. As for your criteria of a JH coach preparing players for varsity, may I suggest off the top of my head in the last few years a couple of players who started varsity in 10th grade after his instruction
McCarty
Mehall
Glessner
Gdula
Meier
Ondrejik
Dudukovich
McCombie
Gdula
Unger
Ohler
Burkey
Shope
Dell and I am sure I missed a few that others could add to this list to complete!! Is that success????

Only to us Ranger fans. Some people just look for a scab to pick at.
