Big Least expansion.

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

Let me get this straight. Today, they voted to allow the commish to seek expansion. Hooray!!!!

Temple, Air Farce, Navy, UCF, and SMU.

Smell the ****ing ratings.

Sorry, Coach, couldn't resist. LOL

I'm sure UCONN is dying to take on Central Florida in the Big East bball title game.

This is laugh-out-loud bad. With UCONN and WVU getting ready to start turning tricks for conference invites, the Big East turns to Temple. Temple, who was kicked out, will now come back groveling for a slightly bigger paycheck than the MAC. Forget Villanova, who was going D1 and has now been basically told "Uh, sorry" by the Big East.

Why in God's name is TCU still coming to the Big East when the Big XII is about to expand? And SMU? You think these teams dont want to play Oklahoma in the Big XII and would rather take on Rutgers?

And what happens when ND tells the ACC no, and they snag UCONN and Rutgers?

There's so many hilarious outcomes for the Big East, all of them ending with a pie in the face and a kick in the pants. I for one am ready to watch the comedy unfold as Louisville and WVU suddenly awaken one morning and realize their toughest conference opponent is Delaware State.

Thank God Pitt left.

Maybe Louisville and West Virginia and Kansas State should have gotten their academics up to snuff. Funny how this realignment stuff is all about the football revenue, yet academics is what is holding back some of these programs. Maybe academics really do matter after all.
