Does anyone have a take on these games?

I DO NOT think BM actively recruits student athletes. Back to my original point on running up the score. As long as they are in the spotlight they should expect criticism, so why bring it on yourself? Again, unless you don't care.

First off I really wish more people would be like you on the recruiting topic. And yes McCort is going to be criticized because their good and people will always will always criticize and hate successful programs for no reason except the fact their successful. And as far as bringing the criticism on themselves yes there have been some plays over the years such as the Johnstown play you cited, or back in like 04 or 05 when the Crushers were up huge on Richland in the second half and did an onside kick. But, McCort isn't the only school that does these things however their the only one that draws criticism. Once again bringing me back to my point of how unbelievable hypocritical some people are.

Point taken. Unfortunately for you guys when you are disliked as much as BM is the criticism is going to find you...sometimes when it's warranted and sometimes when it's not.

You do get used to it, but it never gets any less agitating and annoying. Especially when you get criticized for doing the same things other schools do and their not criticized.

I heard some big kid from Ferndale just got one of those LIFT scholarships to attend BM for 4 years for free. AND he is on the 9th grade football team. Guess this isn't some type of recruiting. Just luck I guess.

If this is true this is the reason people have a hard time liking BM. Poor Ferndale.

Like I said before: There are 6 kids on the BM 9th grade team that were not on the BM 8th grade team last year. Sooo...how many others are there who may have received these scholarships? It's this kind of thing that leaves a bad taste in the mouth's of BM opponents.

WOW!!! Come home from a long day and have to face this!!!! Go back a few posts. sportsfan brought up the "perception of the r word". Then JD came back with people "not crying about BM recruiting last year when they were 8-5". And I'm getting blamed??? All I did was chime in with my 2 cents worth by adding some FACTS to the conversation. Facts which, by the way, NOBODY has disputed.
